Immediate need for a talented Database Analyst Admin. This is a 12+ Months (Staff augmentation, will extend after 1 year)contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Ashburn, VA (2 day per month Hybrid). Pay Range: $48 - $50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- MUST BE LEGALLY ABLE TO SUPPORT SERVERS THAT HOST GOVERNMENT AND LEGAL ENTITIES
- Responsibility shall include overall maintenance, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL MongoDB and x databases:
- Install and Build database structures
- Backup & Recovery
- Apply patches and upgrade database versions
- Daily maintenance including monitoring and database maintenance tasks
- Query and performance tuning
- Part of On-Call rotation
- Develop and maintain documentation
- Database administrator with over 8-10 years of experience in database administration of high availability, and critical production systems
- Provide 24x7 production support, hands on experience in creation and maintenance of Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Cassandra database instances, database design, database performance monitoring and tuning
- Working experience in Oracle 19c, database backup and recovery are also required.
- Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard experience required
- Working experience with SQL Server 2014, 2016, or 2019
- Oracle certification preferred.
- Candidate must be a good team player with strong team concept, self motivated, and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
