Job Summary The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Chateau Burg RV Resorta new RV Resort in Fredericksburg, Texas, slated to open in Q1 2024. The General Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the resortincluding front office/reservations, maintenance, food and beverage, store operations, and propane sales. The General Manager will lead a service-oriented team to provide a world-class guest experience, cultivate resort atmosphere, maintain policies and procedures, and achieve financial goals.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the Chateau Burg RV Resort including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, store, andsecurity.
Ensure that guest satisfaction is maintained at all times by providing exceptional customerservice.
Manage staff and provide leadership, training, and support to ensure that they are motivated, engaged, and providing the highest level of customerservice.
Maintain financial goals by managing expenses and revenue, including monitoring and analyzing financial statements andreports.
Ensure that the resort is operating in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws andregulations.
Develop and maintain relationships with guests, suppliers, and vendors to ensure that the resort provides the highest level of service andquality.
Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability, including marketing, promotions, and partnerships with local businesses andattractions.
Implement and enforce resort policies and procedures to ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for allguests.
Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay current with industry trends and bestpractices.
Patriciate in the completion of weekly and monthly reports forownership.
Participate in local events that increase visibility of the park in the community and deepens communityrelationships.
Required Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a management position.
Knowledge of RV resort or campground operations.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Strong financial management skills, with experience in reading budgets and financial statements.
Comfortable with technology and basic programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, suppliers, and vendors.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to the hospitalityindustry.
