Ricardo Beverly Hills is seeking a talented and creative Soft Bags Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative design, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the latest trends in fashion and travel. As a Soft Bags Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing soft-sided luggage and travel bags that align with our brand's aesthetic and quality standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Portfolio required upon application
4-7 years professional experience in Fashion / Soft goods product consumer related field.
Passion for working at the intersection of designing and developing soft goods product.
Ability to rapidly ideate, work independently, innovate and describe concepts clearly to enable products from concept through to final preproduction approval.
Strong proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as MS Office (emphasis on Excel), and 3D modeling tools is a plus but not required.
Ability and knowledge to work with fashion patterns / prints via Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency in creating product renders.
Sensitivity to color selection, matching, pattern and material composition.
Organization, attention to detail and the ability to handle mulitple projects and shifting priorites.
Pro-activeness in becoming a valued team member and learn new systems and processes.
Advanced English language and clear communication skills.
Experience in complex cut & sew, knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes relevant to soft bags design. Vac-forming, injection molding knowledge is a plus but not required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creation of detailed tech packs, BOM s, and sample requests for factory handoff.
Communicate daily with global development and suplier based partners in a clear manner.
Research market and industry trends, participate in field research and develop presentations.
Contribute to product design briefs/direction alongside the management team.
Create compelling product solutions through both available and new materials.
Actively learn and continually improve upon operational and manufacturing processes.
Provide color/ material and print pattern approvals for bulk production orders.
Travel domestically for trade shows, sales presentations, and field research.
Opportunity to travel to Asia (up to 2x per year) to work directly with factories and suppliers.
