Human Resources Representative


Job Details

The Human Resources Representative provides timely and efficient HR services to all of our brands across multiple states. Primarily responsible for new hire processing and onboarding, the Human Resources Representative is the first point of contact for many employees and will perform various administrative tasks that support the HR office while presenting a professional demeanor and positive attitude. This is an in-office position and remote work is not available.

What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for all aspects of employee onboarding, including but not limited to:

- Contacting applications for pre-employment drug screening and process scheduling

- Providing information to new hires on how to obtain required work cards

- Data entry of new employees into ADP WorkforceNow HRIS and SafetySkills LMS

- Provide ADP Employee Self Service Registration information to all new hires

- Audit completion of new hire online safety training

- Issue uniforms to new hires and maintains uniform issue and return logs
Prepares and maintains all digital personnel files
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Company and assist employees with questions concerning policy.
Answer all incoming phone calls and route appropriately, distribute department mail, and assist with department bulletins.
Maintain the office supplies for the office, ordering as necessary
Completes employment verifications and requests for information as needed.
Interact with all employees, vendors, and guests in a friendly, professional demeanor.
Assists with employee events and recognition programs.
Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is an essential function of the job.

- The HR office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. The specific shift for this role is 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required
Minimum of three years of experience in a Human Resources office strongly preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Experience with ADP WorkforceNow strongly preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Organizational skills to function effectively with attention to detail. Must be able to organize materials, set priorities and provide feedback or follow up.
The ability to read and evaluate written material, multi-task and meet targeted deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills when interacting with employees and managers; maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance.
Must be a proven team player, dedicated to the overall success of the brands and department.
Must be a "people person" that enjoys frequent communication and is able to maintain a positive attitude.
