Entry-Level CNC Programmer
We are currently seeking a candidate with 3+ years of experience with CNC operation and computer literacy skills, who wants to take the next step in their career and learn CNC Programming, for a client in Akron, Ohio!
In this position, you will work in a modern, 33,000 square foot production facility with advanced machining and tooling technology and learn to perform CNC programming edits (including G&M coding) and develop CNC programs via manual coding and Surfcam on equipment such as Horizontal and Vertical Mills, 5 Axis Machines, Lathes, and EDM Equipment. Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
- 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 4:00PM - 12:30AM
Pay:- $20 - 26 / hour, depending on your experience
Key Responsibilities: - Setup / programming of various CNC machines
- Reading / interpreting technical blueprints / design models
- Loading raw materials into the CNC machine
- Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software
- Choosing / loading the correct cutting tools for the job
- Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications
- Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
- Perform routine machine maintenance
Minimum Requirements: - High school diploma / GED
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience with CNC operation
- Ability to read / interpret design blueprints
- Computer literate with the ability to learn / use various software packages
