Job Details

BHS Robotics is seeking a Finance Manager to join our growing team in Hanover Park, IL! This is a hybrid position requiring up to 5-10% travel.


SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical business partner to join our management team. You will be responsible for preparing financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will use your advanced accounting skills to generate actionable insights from technical and financial data.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Design and implement effective operational controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  2. Continuously improve financial and operating procedures, systems, guidelines to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  3. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, providing timely insights and recommendations to leadership.
  4. Prepare and present detailed financial reports to leadership, highlighting KPIs, variances, and trends.
  5. Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to support business decision-making.
  6. Conduct regular forecasting and scenario analyses to anticipate financial needs and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  7. Collaborate with leadership to drive the budgeting process in coordination with BHS Group requirements.
  8. Partner with local management in strategic planning and other initiatives, including presentation materials for global executive leadership.
  9. Provide due diligence support and financial analysis as it relates to new acquisitions or business opportunities.
  10. Manage cross-functional team members including work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
  11. Collaborate with the BHS North America Finance & Accounting team in support of financial activities, procedures, guidelines, monthly closings, external & internal audits, forecasting, budgeting, etc.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. Masters/advanced degree is a plus.
  2. 10+ years of experience including controlling and financial management roles.
  3. Experience implementing business controls.
  4. Working experience in a custom machine build business (ETO) is essential.
  5. CMA (or CPA) would be considered an asset.
  6. Experience with ERP implementation would also be considered an asset.

This is a full-time position offering a salary up to $135,000 + full benefits as seen below:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role, while primarily an office-based position, does require the ability to engage in physical activities consistent with manufacturing / engineering environments. This may include:

  1. Sitting for extended periods while performing computer-based work.
  2. Visual acuity to accurately work on detailed reports and data sets.
  3. Occasional travel to company sites, which may require additional physical demands depending on the location.
  4. Candidates should be capable of fulfilling these physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations to carry out the essential functions of the role.
