BHS Robotics is seeking a Finance Manager to join our growing team in Hanover Park, IL! This is a hybrid position requiring up to 5-10% travel.
SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical business partner to join our management team. You will be responsible for preparing financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will use your advanced accounting skills to generate actionable insights from technical and financial data.
The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement effective operational controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Continuously improve financial and operating procedures, systems, guidelines to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, providing timely insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to leadership, highlighting KPIs, variances, and trends.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to support business decision-making.
- Conduct regular forecasting and scenario analyses to anticipate financial needs and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive the budgeting process in coordination with BHS Group requirements.
- Partner with local management in strategic planning and other initiatives, including presentation materials for global executive leadership.
- Provide due diligence support and financial analysis as it relates to new acquisitions or business opportunities.
- Manage cross-functional team members including work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
- Collaborate with the BHS North America Finance & Accounting team in support of financial activities, procedures, guidelines, monthly closings, external & internal audits, forecasting, budgeting, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. Masters/advanced degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience including controlling and financial management roles.
- Experience implementing business controls.
- Working experience in a custom machine build business (ETO) is essential.
- CMA (or CPA) would be considered an asset.
- Experience with ERP implementation would also be considered an asset.

This is a full-time position offering a salary up to $135,000 + full benefits as seen below:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role, while primarily an office-based position, does require the ability to engage in physical activities consistent with manufacturing / engineering environments. This may include:
- Sitting for extended periods while performing computer-based work.
- Visual acuity to accurately work on detailed reports and data sets.
- Occasional travel to company sites, which may require additional physical demands depending on the location.
- Candidates should be capable of fulfilling these physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations to carry out the essential functions of the role.
