Job Description

The IT Procurement Specialist will work closely with IT Teams both globally and locally to provide IT Procurement support to IT Teams on services, hardware, infrastructure, telecom and software application projects (as applicable) and track both OpEx and CapEx budget against actuals and forecast.

Essential Functions

  • Provide sourcing support for services, software, and hardware for CapEx and OpEx projects
  • Manage purchase order, release process, good receipts, and vendor payments
  • Track software licenses and current usage, support vendor audits
  • Assist in developing system specifications and/or scopes of work with internal customer
  • Initiate/organize and leads the negotiations with suppliers according to the desired objectives
  • Manage IT OpEx (Procurement related) and CapEx forecast process
  • Manage financial forecast for Global IT and track OpEx (Procurement related) and CapEx against budget and actuals
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payables for vendor payments
  • Assist with IT annual budget process
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills and financial knowledge
  • Solid operational management and proficient business skills (excel, power point, word)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT procurement
  • SAP knowledge for tracking budgets, actuals, forecast is desirable

  • Participation in risk assessment audits as applicable
  • Understand PQ Principles (PQP) and how they are implemented in the site organization, rules and procedures
  • Completes HSE training requirements identified for the job in a timely manner
