Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicates verbally with Guests, Team Members, and Management
Assists the Rides Management team with downtime reports
Responds to requests for assistance throughout the property with a safe sense of urgency
Protects the assets and property of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and its Guests
Assists the Rides Department in promoting the Total Safety Atmosphere
Enforces the rules and policies of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Responsible for communicating issues that arise to the proper park personnel
Responsible for logging all pertinent information to ride related calls and incidents that may arise
Enforcing all Six Flags Discovery Kingdom policies
Performing other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week during full time operations (June/July/August)
Must appear professional at all times
Must be able to accurately track and log all necessary information
Must be able to remain calm in all types of stressful situations
Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
Previous Security/Law Enforcement/Military/Dispatching experience or education preferred
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
