Salary: Starting from $16.50 to $17.25, based on experience

Become a part of our team! The role of a Guest Service Agent is to be the main point of contact for all guests throughout their stay, efficiently handling check-ins and check-outs at the hotel.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional guest service by operating the front desk according to standard procedures.
Ensure accuracy in operating the reservation system, check-in and checkout system, and credit card system while following safety and security protocols.
Verify registration cards for completeness, accuracy, and legibility.
Maintain a precise cash sheet and balance the cash drawer regularly.
Handle switchboard operations efficiently, take accurate guest messages and faxes, and follow up promptly.
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
Stay informed about hotel promotions and room rates to assist guests effectively.
Familiarize yourself with the hotel's layout and nearby amenities for guest convenience.
Complete required daily reports, audits, and correspondences.
Keep the lobby and office areas clean and presentable at all times.
Schedule wake-up calls and update room status for housekeeping.
Secure the front desk area before leaving, even for a brief period.
Respond to guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Adhere to company standards for attendance, punctuality, and grooming.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Excellent interaction skills
Previous Hyatt Experience a Plus but not required- will train qualified candidates.
