Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Colonial Heights , VA 2 3834
Shift: Monday - Friday 8-hour day shift
Hourly Rate: Starting $17, guaranteed pay raises at 60 and 90 days
Job Responsibilities of Warehouse Associate :
- Unloading and loading furniture
- Lift/maneuver up to 75 lbs., and team lifts up to 300 lbs.
- Picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately
- Inspecting items for defects and reporting as required
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Processing returned items, cleaning or otherwise preparing it to be returned to stock
- Restocking and maintain an inventory of orders as needed
- During peak periods, possibly assist with delivering a variety of furniture items into the homes and businesses of our amazing customers
- Following all warehouse procedures and safety measures
Education and Experience of Warehouse Associate:- Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks
- Excellent organizational skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to use computers and other technology device
Working Conditions for Warehouse Associate: The following activities are required up to 100% of a typical day:
- Stand and walk on a concrete surface
- Use hands or fingers to handle or feel
- Reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stand up during most of the shift
- Physical stamina and dexterity for the work involving lifting and moving heavy loads
