**Utility Pilot**
Experience Required Yes Job Description Mountain Air Helicopters, Inc., based in Los Lunas, NM, is accepting applications for professional helicopter pilots. Mountain Air is a 19 year, US based Utility Helicopter company operating under 135/133/137. Our primary flight operations are fire support for various federal and state agencies and helicopter support for challenging helicopter projects. This is an opportunity to be part of a team with strong morals, work ethics, safety brand, and be heard by company management.
Duties include daily preflight, FRaT and SMS completion, post-flight, document daily records, prepare flight plans, W&B, passenger briefing, intermediate computer skills. Pilots will fly aircraft in remote locations and varied outdoor conditions (VFR only). Work with customers and management for complete customer satisfaction. Complete company annual flight and ground training. Meet USFS/OAS carding minimums and complete Interagency check ride as required. Pilots must work well with peers and represent the company in a professional manner. Must be an active participant in the company SMS program. Pilots are required to adhere to FAA regulations, hold integrity to a high standard, and place safety of passengers and aircraft first.
Job Requirements
* Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft
* Minimum of 1800 hours helicopter
* 150 hours in Airbus AS350 series helicopter
* External Load Experience
* 200 hours mountain flying conditions
* 100 hours helicopter flight time in last 12 months
* Be able to pass USFS/OAS pilot
Missions include:
* USFS and OAS Fire Fighting (EU and CWN)
* External load with 50, 100 and 150 long line
* Aerial mulching and seeding
* PSD and Heli-torch burn projects
* Powerline Construction support Foundation support / pole replacement
* 135 Charter / Movie / Commercial
* Core and Micro-pile drill support
* Aerial survey and inspection
* Seismic Exploration
