Quality Assurance Tester

Key Role:Work in tandem with multiple Enterprise Technology Services and Solutions (ETSS) teams to deploy internal-use applications, products, and services. Participate in the software development life cycle, including sprint planning and review meetings, design test scenarios and test cases, and defect management. Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret system component tests and test plans. Identify and prevent defects and work with developers and engineers to correct any defects found. Support maintenance releases for multiple ETSS applications. Ensure that the software systems and components are successfully integrated, tested, and deployed.Support the integration testing of software components in a collaborative environment with customers and team members.Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.Basic Qualifications:5+ years of experience with technical quality assurance, including creation of test cases, test suites, requirements traceability, and end-of-test reports

Experience using Atlassian Jira for test case and defect management

Knowledge of functional testing, backend testing, automation, and data validation using web-based applications

Knowledge of open-source automation tools, including Selenium, JMeter, or Katalon Studio

Knowledge of Power Automate Platform and UI Path

Knowledge of testing frameworks, including JUnit or TestNg

Ability to assess and interpret functional requirements into testable scenarios

Ability to create and update test cases and perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements are covered

Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:Experience with testing Workday, iValua and Finance applications

Experience with SQL and Oracle

Experience in data migration

Experience in backend and data validation testing

Knowledge of programming languages, including Java or Ruby

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
