I. Position Description
The purpose of this position is to ensure proper operation of the Plastic Pelletizing department.
Ii. Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain steady flow of plastic from the hopper to the belt.
- Produce reliable and accurate monitoring reports and transcribe data into MS Word and/or Excel
- Serve as additional support to Plastic Plant on an as-needed basis.
- Operate skid steer, yard truck and fork-lift safely.
- Comply with all health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Iii. Pre-hire Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel) including the ability to generate graphs,
- Ability to work effectively in group environments as well as independently.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid US Driver s License
- Authorization to work in the United States
Iv. Post-hire Training Requirements
- Environmental training applicable to the job and safety training for applicable equipment.
- Job instruction training, including SWI s.
- Scissor-lift, Yard Truck, Skid Steer, and forklift equipment (with appropriate qualifications).
- Significant environmental air aspects and impacts.
- Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program.
- Journey to Excellence training (Lean manufacturing Rules, Tools. and Principles)
