Job Description: Class Action & Mass Torts Associate Attorney (Mid Level)
Office Locations: San Diego or San Francisco
Experience Required: 3 – 4 Years
One of our top law firm clients is searching for a Consumer Class Action and Mass Torts Associate.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Class Action Defense Experience: In areas such as false advertising, product defect, and false representation; and/or experience with mass tort/MDL (required).
- Product Liability Litigation Experience: Helpful but not mandatory.
- California Unfair Competition Law: Experience is beneficial.
- Class Certification and Summary Judgment Briefing: Proficient in briefing for class certification and/or summary judgment.
- Drafting Skills: Experience in drafting briefs, correspondence, and responding to written discovery.
- Litigation Skills: Experience in conducting depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Case Management: Strong case management skills, work ethic, and a team-oriented attitude.
Requirements:
- Must be a member of the state bar of California.
