Eaton s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking an Assembler. This position is based at our Tualatin, OR location. The Assembler will be responsible for providing assembly support within Tualatin OR location, including but not limited to the final assembly, inspection and testing of various product lines, PCB sub-assemblies, soldering (THM) using specialized hand and air tools, specific work instructions. The main objective is to provide a finished product on time and in adherence to Eaton s quality standards.The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you ll do:Be able to work independently to standard operating procedures / work instructions, bill of materials, product specific information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to complete assembly or sub-assemblies.Be responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly.Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair productBe responsible for mechanical/electrical performance of completed assemblies and assist in making necessary adjustments to meet performance/quality goals.Evaluates assembly problems, recommends corrective actionsReports irregularities or equipment malfunctionsFosters an environment that promotes Eaton s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.Other job duties as assignedQualifications:Basic QualificationsHS diploma or GED from an accredited institutionMust be authorized to work in the US without Company sponsorshipMust reside within 50 miles of Tualatin OR to be considered.
