Our client, a food distribution company, is looking for Food Preparation Workers to join their team in Bay Shore, NY. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with food, and a positive can-do attitude. This is a temporary opportunity.
Job Title: Food Preparation Worker
Location: Bay Shore, NY
Pay Range: $17.00 - $17.24 per hour
Available Shifts (Monday - Friday):
1st Shift: 4:45am to 1:15pm
2nd shift: 1:30pm to 10:15pm
What's the Job?
Prepare pre-made meals working with raw materials, such as chicken and meats.
Prepare salads, sauces, desserts according to proper preparation methods, following basic recipes.
Be responsible for standard sanitation duties.
What's Needed?
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous experience with food handling
Ability to stand, lift and carry up to 50lbs
Ability to work under cold temperatures or in a refrigeration room
Great communication skills
