Bentley Truck Service Is Hiring An Experienced Master Diesel Technician For Our Philadelphia, PA Location
Earn $25-$40 Per Hour (Dependent Upon Experience)- Full Benefits
Must-Have Strong Mechanical & Electrical Experience & 7+ Years of Experience Working On Gas/Diesel Equipment
Summary:
The Master Diesel Technician/Mechanic will have the opportunity to use exceptional skills and knowledge to support overall business goals while mentoring and developing other technicians/mechanics. Will work very closely with the management team to provide insight on overall shop operations.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced diagnostic computer equipment/software in the analysis, diagnosis, repair of gasoline and diesel engines and their related subsystems/components.
- Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
- Update supervisor and computer systems on work performed.
- Follow procedures related to obtaining parts for jobs assigned.
- Assure warranty procedures are followed.
- Participate in and complete Manufacturing training to obtain certifications.
Skills and Abilities:
- Work on trucks, climbing into and out of them, crawling under to make repairs.
- Work on emissions systems.
- Demonstrate proficient wiring knowledge.
- Work safely and promote safety in the workplace.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and electronic repair and troubleshooting manuals.
- Use PC to update work order status and explain maintenance and repairs.
- Explain verbally and in written form the status of work orders.
- Keep management aware of any concerns in the shop.
- Provide dependable/consistent results.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical and electrical experience.
- Strong diagnostic ability and familiarity with OEM software.
- 7+ years of experience working on gas/diesel equipment.
- Refrigeration unit experience is a plus.
- CDL B, or willingness to obtain.
- ASE Certifications REQUIRED
- For Pennsylvania Locations PA State Inspection License
