Shipper/Receiver

The Shipper/Receiver will work under supervision to perform various functions required in receiving and shipping products from our vendors and customers. Work instructions will be both written and verbal, utilizing drawings, procedures and/or sketches.

Your Challenge

  • Make decisions involving initiative and judgment to perform a wide variety of tasks in support of the primary purpose, including, but not limited to;
  • Receive - Unload, unpack, count, record, etc.
  • Store - inventory, organize, issue, track, check, etc.
  • Clean - Glass bead, wash, hand tools, etc.
  • Paint - Prepare surfaces, mask, etc.
  • Preserve - Apply protective coatings, etc.
  • Package - Manufacture/assemble boxes, crates and skids, wrap, pack and box, stencil, etc.
  • Ship - Weigh, load carriers, etc.
  • Setup, operate and maintain various types of equipment singly or in parallel. Equipment includes, but is not limited to:
  • Paint equipment and system.
  • Shipping area equipment.
  • Cleaning equipment.
  • Engraving/stenciling equipment.
  • Preservation equipment.
  • Air/Shot Blast Operation.
  • Operate all material handling equipment within facility to position and transport work to or from work areas.
