Production Technician - Cylinder Handler
Our belief in flawless customer service is the backbone of our operations. Our cryogenics team is critical to our ability to deliver the best customer service in the industry and to ensuring that our customers have the bulk gas support that they need within their own operations. This role performs all installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on bulk and specialty gas equipment for our customers and our company. Specialty gases include LN2, O2, LAR, ACET, H2, He, CO2, and N2O. Our systems range from low pressure cryogenic states to high pressure gaseous forms. Experience with vacuum repair and welding on cryogenic vessels is high sought in our candidates for this role. Our Production Technicians work independently on assignments but also work as a team when required to accomplish projects on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Repair cryogenic liquid cylinders, tankers, tube trailers, and bulk tanks
Provide cryogenic installation support of bulk tankers and telemetry systems at customer locations
Emergency support of customer cryogenic systems as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma no GEDs please.
Valid driver's license and clean MVR - you must maintain a clean MVR through employment.
Must be able to travel up to 5 days at a time. This is not a constant traveling position, but it does come with a significant amount of travel. All Travel expenses are paid.
Physically able to perform job functions including pushing, pulling, lifting, and rolling equipment, maneuvering under, over, and around equipment, etc. Must be able to lift 60 pounds at the minimum. Must also be able to stand for prolonged periods of time when working with the installation and equipment requirements.
Must be able to work outside in potentially extreme weather conditions.
Must be available for emergency on-call situations in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified in Health Care Installation is preferred and/or compensated by the company
Certified in Health Care Facility Design is preferred and/or compensated by the company
Exhibit logical, common-sense decision making abilities
Communicate well with store managers and your supervisor at all times in a professional manner
Transport and trailer maintenance experience is advantageous
Comfortable working in a team as well as independently
