Our client will play an integral part in an expanding background investigative initiative for federal departments and agencies. These background investigations are an essential component to ensuring the safety and prosperity of our great nation. The background investigations are purposed for Individuals seeking employment with the federal government in varying capacities, and they will need to undergo a background investigation to ensure that these individuals are not a potential security threat. During the BI process, there will be sensitive information that will be documented and processed, as a result, there would be a critical need for individuals that can maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive materials.

Would you like to contribute to our Nation's security? If so, we are seeking 3 Security Clerks for Direct Hire with full benefits that currently possess an Active Top Secret Clearance (TS) or an Active SSBI (Single Scope Background Investigation Clearance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Coordinate with HR, Training, and supervision for onboarding new staff

2. Submitting potential candidates to OPM for approval on contract

3. Requesting credentials from OPM

4. Logging and tracking credential chain of custody

5. Requesting credentials from staff exiting contract

6. Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

* High school diploma or G.E.D.

* Completion of a two year program in criminology, business administration or related field preferred

* Two or more years of experience in security administration

* Experience working with company security guidelines and/or policies

* Experience working with facilities management

* Experience with mechanical and security systems

* Experience working with compliance-related safety guidelines, laws and regulations and compliance programs, policies and procedures

Other Qualifications - Must possess a current (within the last 2 years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Top Secret level security clearance

* Communication skills to communicate with security and other company personnel and to document information

* Interpersonal skills to communicate with company staff

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Ability to keep sensitive and confidential material private

* Ability to handle multiple tasks and switch between tasks quickly
