ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT- Temporary


Job Details

This job is a Temporary Position for 6 months.
Work Days: Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00.
Wage: $16.05.
All candidates are required to complete the agency application, and complete the screening process.

Responsibilities:
Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events.
Receive, route, and disperse telephone calls/messages.
Prepare reports, documents, and maintain filing systems.
Assists in the preparation and maintenance of confidential files in accordance with agency policy.
Handle confidential information with discretion.
Assist with project management and administrative tasks.
Compose and type correspondence.
Organizes written material and paperwork.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Experience as an administrative assistant or personal assistant.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to handle complex clerical tasks independently.

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and desktop publishing software. Ability to create, edit and retrieve a wide variety of documents using the available software and hardware.
Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of specific rules and regulations governing the process of respective areas of assignment and the ability to clearly interpret written or verbal instruction.
Ability to work quickly, accurately, and independently.
Typing speed of 45 correct words per minute
Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time
Ability to access file cabinets for filings and retrieval of data
Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction)
Ability to work in a confidential environment.
Skill in using standard office equipment, such as telephone, desktop faxing, calculator, photocopier, computer and printer.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with employees and the public.
