TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months; Position Start Date July 1, 2024.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must pass fingerprint background check
  2. High School Diploma required, supplemented by minimum 5 years secretarial experience
  3. Ability to compose and edit correspondence and reports
  4. Strong organizational skills and mature judgment
  5. Working knowledge of Districts' policies, procedures and functions
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite

JOB SUMMARY:

The role of the Payroll & Benefits Assistant is to perform job duties which provide support to the Payroll & Benefits Department to ensure effective and efficient operations. Position will require individual to be ethical, dependable, cooperative and detail oriented. Previous experience with Excel and Word highly preferred, as well as an understanding of payroll processing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to adjust actions in relation to others' activities and manage one's own time.
