EducationBachelor's DegreeJob DescriptionMcLaughlin Research Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Records and Data Manager to support a contract with the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, Rhode Island. The successful candidate will be part of a team that enables the conceptualization, modernization, and maintenance of systems that ensure our Navy's undersea superiority. The Records and Data Manager will organize and maintain records and will create and implement a Standing Operating Procedure for maintaining quality control of data and making them accessible to members of the team.Position responsibilities:Plan and organize records to include records maintenance and use, and recommend records disposition for the life cycle of such recordsDevelop and implement a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for maintaining quality control of data.Perform data center operations for technical data and documentation requiring configuration controlCatalog, track, account, and respond to reproduction and distribution requests for technical data and documentationArchive cover letters and incoming and outgoing correspondence and messages.Job RequirementsBS or BA degree from an accredited college or university with five (5) years working experience.Two (2) years of library or data center experienceExperience providing services in a team environment or working with the public.Excellent oral and written communications, analytical, and organizational skillsA U.S. citizen and have eligibility for a security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Active SECRET security clearance is a plusSpecific Librarian training or education is a plusSpecific Records Management training or education is a plusExperience working with the Department of the Navy is a plusEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:McLaughlin Research Corporation is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
