Food Production Packer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Food Production Packer or Sanitation. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of food production while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring the highest level of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- General housekeeping/janitorial duties
- Tear down & clean production equipment/conveyors
- Wash down all production equipment & fryers
- Help with line changeovers & set ups
- Cleaning of production area walls, ceilings & floors
- Washing of dishes and other equipment
- Assisting maintenance & production when necessary
- Help with fryer cleaning & oil filtration
- Dusting & wiping down flat surfaces and tops of control panels
- Will be trained on mobile equipment such as pallet jack & Forklift
- Will be trained in some technical cleaning tasks
- Work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
- Ensure consistent quality product is being produced
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Follow directions from supervisors
- Communicate any issues with supervisors
- Requirements: Crew Members are needed to work their shift including weekends hours and times vary! 3rd shift schedule which includes weekends, weekend hours are generally Friday 9pm-5:30am & Saturday 6pm to 2:30am
- Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications and Skills- Must be reliable
- Must be able to work 6 days a week
- Must want to be hired on permanently
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to stand long hours
- Must be able to bend and lift repeatedly
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work accurately
- Must have good attendance
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
Benefits/Compensation- Full Time
- All Shifts Available
- Pay Rate is $16 per hour
