Job Details

The Host Clerks are responsible for a variety of patient and non-patient tasks in the call center, tray line, nursing unit, and kitchen as assigned. These tasks include: For Non-Patient Host Clerks Check and verify all beverages, hot foods, cold foods and condiments on the patient tray and loads the tray into the delivery cart. Communicate with Production staff concerning any issues with food items being served for Room Service. Reading and correcting patient menus based on their prescribed diet. Tallying items on the menus and communicating needs to the production staff in a timely manner. Placing items on patient trays as they are assembled on tray line and stocking coolers with patient meal items. Placing trays in carts and coordinating delivery with the hostess staff. Answering phone calls, using an iPad, and using a touch screen computer to track trays through the delivery process.
