We are looking for a mid-level frontend engineer to join our Logging team. The team is responsible for our Log Management offering that ingests petabytes of data per day, serves billions of web requests per day, and processes millions of messages per second. What you'll do
  • Build new and improve existing customer-facing UIs that interface with high-throughput data streaming systems
  • Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, architects, researchers, and other engineers to ship software incrementally with frequent customer feedback.
  • Pair, mob, and review PRs to ensure high quality, distribute knowledge among the team, and manage the delivery timeline.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support our services. We bake reliability into everything we do to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

This role requires
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Javascript. Experience in React or any similar modern JS framework is required.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to do well in a remote work setting.
  • Passion for producing high-quality code, and strong unit testing and automated end-to-end testing skills. We take testing seriously!
  • Being comfortable in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering production code at a regular cadence using Agile techniques, tools and methodologies.
  • Willingness to be on-call for the services the team owns


Bonus points if you have
  • Experience working on a high-throughput product. We deal with huge amounts of data. * Experience working on the backend
  • Familiarity with backend services and streaming technologies such as Kafka.

Estimated Base Pay Range: $ 118,000 - $ 147,000
The pay range above represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicants skills, qualifications, and experience.
