JOB DESCRIPTION
Progressive audio visual staging and service company seeks a Draftsman. Our scope of services includes comprehensive AV staging and presentation solutions for corporate, social, live entertainment, convention and show management. An outgoing personality, industry knowledge and strong consultative skills with a sincere focus on customer service are preferred. Candidate must understand how comprehensive sound, lighting and video solutions can be applied to support client objectives and be comfortable engaging across diverse industry sectors including advertising/marketing/PR firms, corporate/association meetings & events, AV production, concerts, and social galas & events.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of audiovisual services within the event production industry. A minimum of 5 years of direct event production experience is required.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce accurate, photo-realistic renderings with production elements
- Supply electrical circuiting plans, weight loads, and cable paths
- Consult with clients and sales team regarding production specification
- Collaborate with the production team to accommodate all projects
- Manage multiple projects
- Ensure company standards, policies, and procedures are maintained
REQUIRED CHARACTERISTICS
- Experience using Vectorworks
- Experience using 3ds Max
- Experience using Photoshop
- Experience using Cinema 4D
Premier awareness of event technology and practices, specifically:
- Theatrical Lighting
- Theatrical Rigging
- Scenic Design
- Graphic Design
- Electrical Distribution
- Solid history of drafting high profile, large format, corporate events.
- Self-starter that can thrive in both a corporate and start-up type environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years in event production account management or project management
- Comprehensive and undeniable effectiveness on all facets of event production
- Portfolio of past event renderings
