Our client hospital, a 250+ bed, Pathway to Excellence designated facility, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director for their Womens Center. This leadership position plays a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of a large relatively new Womens Center. As the Director you will lead a team of healthcare professionals, manage department budgets, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff performance. This center sees approximately 1,100 births annually and has a level II Nursery.
What you will do:
- Provides administrative and clinical direction and supervision for the Womens service line.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a fully staffed team (no travelers!) of supervisors, nurses and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Monitor patient care metrics and quality indicators to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Foster an environment of professional growth and ongoing education for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Oversee the performance evaluation process, providing constructive feedback and recognizing exceptional performance.
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to the organization's strategic planning initiatives.
What you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current unrestricted RN license in the state
- 1+ years of Womens nursing leadership experience
- Clinical experience in Labor & Delivery
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
