Position Type: Support StaffDate Posted: 9/29/2023Location: Clio High SchoolDistrict: Clio Area School District - websiteTITLE: Lunchroom Aide - High School JOB SUMMARY: The lunchroom aide is responsible for assisting the principal and other certified staff in maintaining student discipline and safety in the assigned areas. Assigned to a specific area of supervision. REPORTS TO: Principal and/or Assistant Principal QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or equivalent required 2. First aid training preferred 3. Minimum of one year of experience working with children preferred 4. Ability to accept supervision and direction. 5. Exercise good judgment and make decisions in accordance with board policies PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists the principal and other certified staff in maintaining safety 2. Refers insubordinate students and students whose behavior is unsafe to the principal 3. Supervise and direct students as they enter and leave the lunch areas 4. Supervise students while in the lunchroom seating and serving areas 5. Assists the principal in maintaining an orderly lunch distribution system 6. Reports all unsafe conditions to the principal 7. Performs first aid to injured students 8. Performs other related duties as assigned by the building administrator that may be required due to special conditions of the lunch program Interested applicants must apply online at www.clioschools.org.
