Job Description
Responsibilities: The primary purpose is to perform general mechanical troubleshooting and repair equipment.
- Troubleshoot and solves all mechanical problems. This includes replacing parts such as bearings, pulleys, belts, chains and sprockets.
- Repair drive components such as motors, gears, reducers.
- Ability to follow through and make sure proper parts are ordered
- Ability to use hand tools
- Knowledge of all related hoses and fittings
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks
- Ability to follow applicable safety and environment requirements, food safety, GMPs.
- Basic knowledge of welding
- Ability to adjust equipment as needed to reach targeted production demands
- Understand lock-out/tag out procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must have organizational skills
- Responsible for maintenance
Required Skills- Previous mechanical experience highly preferred but willing to train
- Previous experience in Basic Electricity, Pneumatics, Mechanical Power Transmission, Welding
- Proficient in trouble shooting
- Education/Experience in the use of measurement tools and instruments
- Education/Experience in interpreting schematics and pneumatics
- Proficient in verbal/written communication with upper management
