JOB SUMMARY
The Intern, NABA will support the work of the NABA and NABA Foundation on a variety of tasks including research on best practices, drafting of key documents and communications, data entry, project management, conference support and follow up and other duties as assigned.
We will identify a cadre of NABA Interns for Summer 2024 and develop individual scopes based on NABA and NABA Foundation needs, intern interest and experience and availability of resources and supports. Temporary (from approximately July 1st- August 30th)
JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Project Management Support at Convention
Assist NABA Staff in Convention support as assigned
Project Management
Execute Project Plans as assigned
Provide administrative support including data entry, project planning updates and other duties as assigned
Facilitate debriefs and lessons learned to support continuous improvement
Project Support
Execute project plans and play key support roles in major initiatives for NABA including the NABA Foundation, national convention and regional conferences,
Provide feedback on improvements and opportunities related to project support
Team Collaboration and Communication
Create and execute internal and external communications plans in partnership with Marketing and Communications
Create internal checklists and materials
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirement(s):
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preference for a degree in business or communications
- Experienced and expressive writer and communicator
- Ability to organize and synthesize ideas and concepts to build a brand
- Attention to detail
- Drive to overcome roadblocks and complete projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- A passion for working with people, an unshakable belief in their potential, and a strong commitment to the mission of NABA, Inc.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate and exchange information as well as use a computer.
Office/Remote working environment
Ability to transport up to 20 lbs.

Expectations and Compensation:
Stipend of $4,000 for college student/ $2500 per high school student
May vary based on hours available (up to 30 hours per week)
