Position Summary:
Our client is looking for someone who can clean and preparing a job site, loading, and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines/equipment. If you are not afraid of hard work and love the idea of learning new skills, this might be the job for you.
Essential Functions:
Assist co-workers: have all tools necessary to complete the job.
Keep records of work assignments.
Track maintenance & safety inspections and keep written records.
Track inventory and order parts.
Available to work long hours: days, nights, weekends.
Available to be on-call according to company rotation.
Available to identify dangers on jobsites and take proper steps to allow for a safe job site.
Ability to work with customers & coworkers and able to control emotions in emergency or volatile situations.
Able to drive safely and able to identify any mechanical problems with vehicle or equipment that will need to be addressed.
Able to follow company rules when working for other companies, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following all company guidelines.
Must have a Valid CA Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Some mechanical knowledge.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong; recognizing there is a problem.
Ability to listen to and understand directions.
Environmental Conditions:
Outdoors with exposure to noise, heat, and cold approximately ninety-five (95%) of the time.
May move (walk or drive) from one work location to another occasionally.
Must work in all types of weather.

Pay Rate: $17 per hr.
Work Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Physical Demands: Be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Stand and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to hold a heavy object overhead and pick up a heavy object from the ground multiple times throughout the day.
Ability to climb ladders.
Physical strength, hand-eye coordination, concentration, endurance and communication skills.
