About Wilder Fields:

Wilder is a rapidly growing, venture-backed food and agriculture company that sustainably grows fresh, flavorful, nutrient dense microgreens. We vertically farm microgreens in repurposed buildings without pesticides or fertilizer and use 98% less water and 97% less land than traditional field farming. Our goal is to become the leading grower and provider of fresh microgreens and related CPG products to supermarkets, food service companies, food manufacturers, and consumers, all while growing from $5M in sales to $75M by 2029. We see ourselves as a first-of-kind microgreens foods company that not only grows and sells fresh microgreens but also productizes them. In addition to our fresh microgreens, which are available throughout the Midwest, we have commercialized Daily Elements (www.getdailyelements.com), a microgreens-based powder that sells direct-to-consumer.

About the Role:

Please Note: This role is hybrid but can be largely remote.

As we enter an ambitious growth phase, we're in search of a Brand Marketing Manager, focusing on brand strategy and brand standards implementation, while supporting growth and field marketing efforts to elevate our customer acquisition efforts to the next level.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Brand Marketing Manager will own our earned/organic channels, standing up and driving brand marketing initiatives for Wilder Fields. Additionally, this role will be a key player in establishing project management processes and will be highly involved in all aspects of creative initiatives such as social media strategy, marketing collateral, packaging design, and event design (such as trade shows, in-person experiences, etc.). As the organization s day-to-day brand touchpoint, this role is expected to be very collaborative and interact with agency partners. We also welcome candidates who have broad knowledge of various Consumer Product Goods categories.

What You ll Do:

Brand Strategy

Collaborate with Director of Marketing and agency partners on Wilder Fields evolving brand direction;

Own the creation and implementation of the brand guide;

Own social strategy and editorial calendar for all business units. Monitor brand sentiment and identify opportunities to engage with our target audiences;

Collaborate with Product Manager on launch and commercialization strategies to ensure all consumer touch points align with the Wilder Fields brand; and

Assist with development of insights and analytics practice within the Wilder Fields organization to support and inform short and long term business objectives.

Process Management

Establish day-to-day project management process in the Marketing organization, assisting the Director of Marketing and Product Manager in maintaining budget and deadlines for creative projects;

Assist Product Manager with gathering and sharing customer feedback to broader organization, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement, growth, and innovation;

Act as traffic control for cross-functional marketing projects; and

Conduct competitor brand audits to identify areas of innovation and differentiation for Wilder Fields.

Content Development

Manage all facets of marketing, creative and content development across fresh and shelf-stable product lines;

Collaborate closely with R&D teams and industry experts (such as vendor partners, researchers, nutritionists and dietitians) to create content supporting the health benefits of microgreens;

In collaboration with Brand, spearhead the development and approval of packaging artwork, ensuring it resonates with our brand identity; and

Coordinate with design agencies and sourcing partners to balance aesthetics, function, and cost.

Marketing & Commercialization Support

Support the creation of marketing content and sales collateral;

Support Sales in presentations and product sell-in; Collaborate with product, growth and digital marketing functions and agencies to launch and support product lines; and

Manage logistics and budget for event and field marketing initiatives.

What You Should Have:

Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field. This requirement can be waived for the right candidate with appropriate experience;

2-7 years prior marketing experience in brand management, Consumer Packaged Goods preferred;

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Figma highly preferred;

Experience or exposure to Byzzer/Nielsen, IRI, Qualtrics, Hubspot, Wordpress, Klaviyo, Meta Business Manager preferred, but not required;

Appetite to make a mark in a high-visibility role in a rapidly growing organization;

Team player attitude and interpersonal skills to lead and coach cross-functional teams;

Ability to balance strategy and execution. Comfortable being hands-on with a can-do approach toward navigating opportunities and challenges in a startup company environment;

Self-starter with effective project management and multi-tasking skills, with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with acute attention to detail;

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; Ability to communicate effectively with teams with varying levels of technical expertise;

Strong analytical skills essential for market and competitive evaluation, pricing, and product category management;

A deep interest in social media cultural zeitgeist, social platforms, ad formats and trends; and

Ability to work with and articulate constructive feedback to creative and digital marketing partners.
