The Technology Implementation Researcher I will lead the planning and execution of the Virginia Tech Transportation Institutes (VTTI) multi-partner smart communities, connected and automated vehicle deployment, and associated programs in the Northern Virginia region. The position will align personnel across VTTI and key partner organizations towards accomplishing the strategic and programmatic goals of these efforts. This position will be required to effectively communicate objectives, decisively resolve critical issues, align technical resources to work tasks, and coordinate the execution of the program. This position will be embedded within key partner teams to ensure a high-level of technical expertise to support those organizations and the communities in which they serve. This position may require the supervision of faculty, staff, and/or students as determined by the Division Director in support of VTTIs mission.
