**Job Description:**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** To assist the daily janitorial operations at Family Guidance Centers, Inc., 333 Evergreen St. Manteno, IL 60950 and satellite locations when needed
Completesdaily janitorial checklist and all associated work:Restock restroom and general areas
* Restockspaper to copy area
* Cleansall bathrooms
* Refills Replacestowels, toilet paper & air-fresheners as needed
* Takes out trash, condenses and neatly place in containers
* Sweeps and mops all floors
* Vacuums all the offices
* Wipes down/dust all tables, cafeteria, offices, group rooms, etc
* Cleans all interior and exteriors windows, doors and window sills
* (Exterior windows - weather permitting)
* Keeps grounds tidy, free of garbage
* Checks plumbing fixtures for proper function and leaks.
* Maintains cleaning equipment.
* Sweeps external front and back of building daily
* Removes snow and ice from walkways during inclement weather.
* Ensures walkways are kept clear by spreading ice melt or rock salt.
* Shovels snow from front and back of building (during winter months)
* Use of gas powered snow blower and manual shovels
* Properly stores and handles bio-hazard material:
* Responds to shipments and pickups:Reconcile shipment and sign for receipt
* Responds timely to emergencies:Solve the problem, work to get problem resolved, or escalate to executives
* Keeps garage clean and orderly:Sweep and Vacuum
* Properly stocks supply boxes
* Keeps maintenance equipment neat and in their proper locations
* Assists with special event set-ups. Assist any outside vendors around facility as needed i.e. (Pest control or other services.)
**Schedule** **Hours: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sundays, 12pm-6:30pm**
