We are currently hiring:

Job Title: Production Scheduler

Salary:Minimum starting salary $53,000 to approximately $65,000 annually depending upon experience

Job Summary:The Production Scheduler position is responsible for ensuring maximum plant utilization through efficient production scheduling and inventory management and shelf life management. Coordinate the flow of materials and finished goods between plants and/or departments according to production constraints/variability, shipping constraints, and/or customer priorities. Responsibilities also include requisitioning materials, entering work orders for production to complete the schedules requested and plant assignments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and adjust current production plans and change as necessary to fulfill external and internal customer orders taking into account operational constraints.
  • Create future production plans by forecasting customer needs outside of firm order placement timeframes.
  • Requisition materials according to production schedules taking into account customer lead times, shipping constraints, and warehousing constraints.
  • Adjust raw material requisitions as production plans change and or variability occurs in the process.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Communicate with all departments and stakeholders as needed for effective completion of daily and weekly schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in all Microsoft Office or Google Suite or other related software.Especially spreadsheets for example:Excel/Sheets.
  • Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills with ability to problem solve.
  • SAP experience.
  • APICS/CPIM certification would be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of MRP.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Computer skills including Google Suite.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
  • Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
