Our client is an organization in the Fox Valley area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with solid accounts payable knowledge while looking to improve their accountant skills!
The salary range for this position is $60k-75k.
The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and managing primarily accounts payable and cross training in accounts receivable.
- Assist with preparation of monthly internal financial packages and external reporting.
- Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
- Reconciles cash disbursements accounts, payroll, customer accounts and other financial accounts.
- Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
- Participate in ongoing internal control compliance reviews.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
The
Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
