For more information, visit amwater.com and join American Water on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. _ *Work Schedule*_ We have two positions * One is Saturday & Sunday 12 hour shifts 6:00am-6:30pm; then choose two set days Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm * One is Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 p.m. _ *Primary Role*_ Operates and maintains system production facilities. _ *Key Accountabilities*_ * Operates and maintains system production facilities. * Works around chemicals required in water treatment plants. * Orders chemicals, unloads deliveries of chemicals, changes chlorine cylinders, and performs routine maintenance of chemical feed systems. * Prepares chemical inventory on a weekly basis. * Performs water tests and collects samples as required. * Enters pumpage into company computer systems. * Prepares both company and State EPA reports that are required. * Performs routine maintenance of pumps, motors and other equipment located at the production facilities. * Makes adjustments for chemical feed and pumping of water though SCADA, as needed. _ *Experience/Education*_ * H.S.
