Where do YOU fit in?
The job of a laborer is to assist the foreman of the cleaning or televising crew. The laborer is expected to complete a variety of different tasks, they may vary on a day-to-day basis. Laborers will work closely with the foreman. To succeed in this role, you should be a fast learner, have good listening skills, ability to read maps and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities with Cleaning Crews:
- Haul water with pick-up truck and trailer
- Help set up at manholes
- Set up work zone traffic control
- Keep company vehicles organized and stocked for the job
- Fill our pre-trip inspection form daily and turn in.
- Understands materials and equipment used in the industry.
- Operates and drives company vehicle to and from project sites
- Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of duties in this job classification
Position Requirements - Class B CDL with tanker is preferred, but not required. Company assistance to obtain CDL is offered
- Construction background preferred, but not required
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read & understand maps
- Willing to travel out of town & overnight throughout the year
- Organization, multitasking, and time management
