About the Role

This position will be responsible for the inventory of 300 + items from approximately 12 vendors. Purchasing replenishment of all labels and the subset of packaging goods. This position will manage the transfer and replenishment process from packaging location in one building to the label between two buildings while bearing in mind production needs by day and available space in the respective label rooms. This position will report to the Sr. Warehouse Manager.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the inventory, purchasing, and replenishment of all labels and a subset of packaging goods.
  • Responsible for the packaging replenishment from building to building.
  • Responsible for placing purchase orders for all labels and a subset of packaging goods.
  • Work with vendors, carriers, and internal receiving team to ensure on time delivery of goods.
  • Ensure timely and proper put-away of packaging deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships. Foster and maintain current relationships with vendors. Work with vendors to establish lead times, MOQ s, etc.
  • Work with internal Marketing team to ensure any packaging changes are made in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining an adequate inventory on all labels and a subset of packaging.
  • Responsible for reducing safety stock inventory. Work with various internal depts and vendors to maintain continuous supply while keeping warehouse space and capacity in mind.
  • Ensure paperwork is processed correctly and efficiently. This includes, but is not limited to, receiving BOLs, billing invoices, shipping BOLs.
  • Responsible for reporting and reaching goals set forth by KPI s.
  • Follow and enforce all policies and procedures set forth to promote quality and food safety and report any food safety and quality concerns.


Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an inventory/ procurement role.
  • Production floor experience.
  • Previous foodservice experience preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in purchasing goods.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required.
  • Self- motivation and initiative to follow through on daily assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.
  • Able to work well with and support other departments.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with utilizing an ERP system required.
  • Past inventory management experience highly preferred.
