Calling all Volunteers! Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley needs volunteers ready to make a difference in the lives of kids and teens. We want volunteers who are passionate about our youth and who are as committed to their success as we are! Give back to the community, earn your volunteer hours, and make an impact today.
About:
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley provides out-of-school care to children K-12. While at the Clubs, the kids engage in a variety of educational and life programs focused on science, art, sports, healthy eating, reading, technology, and so forth. Come play with the kids, learn with the kids, and see what the Clubs are all about!
Opportunities:
Bring your passion to the Clubs! If you have a talent, skill, or passion, we want you to use that as you serve. Volunteers may:
- Interact with the kids
- Help kids with homework or tutor kids
- Teach a class
- Host a party
- Help with specific programs: Technology, Art, Games, Education, Sports, Etc.
- Serve in large organization events
Hours: - Most volunteers serve anytime between 3PM-6PM Monday-Friday during the school year and between 8AM-6PM Monday-Friday during the summer. Hours can be adjusted to fit your individual needs and the Clubs' needs.
RequirementsRequirements: - Must pass state and national background checks (18+ years of age)
- Parental Consent Form (Minors - under 17 years of age)
- Must attend volunteer orientation
- If volunteering with a group, only one application is needed but all members must meet the requirements individually
