Position Summary
Admissions Student Callers (Student Callers) play an important role in successful new student recruitment in Office of Admissions at Westminster College and are often the first point of contact for prospective students. The Student Callers are creative, strong listeners, and problem solvers. They are a team that is patient, and willing to treat each call as an opportunity to connect and build relationships with prospective students. Admissions student callers show up to work enthusiastic to answer prospective student questions.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine affinity for Westminster College
- Ability to make phone calls and encourage conversation

Primary Responsibilities
ResponsibilityDescription - Students will call and speak with prospective students and families about the benefits of a Westminster College education
- Students will contribute to increasing Westminster College's application funnel by making connections with and encouraging students to apply to Westminster College
- This position will require student callers to understand how to navigate the college website in order to help find answers for prospective students
- Student callers will also be expected to know general admissions policies and procedures
- Student callers will work to gain greater institutional knowledge about Westminster College
- As representatives of the Office of Admissions, student callers will be asked to speak about Westminster College in a positive and professional manner
Organizational Responsibilities
Responsibility Diversity and Inclusion
Description Promote an Inclusive Westminster through demonstration of the commitments include in the Westminster College Diversity Statement. Participate in developmental activities to increase understanding and awareness of issues related diversity, equity and Inclusion both individually and as related to my filed of work, profession or discipline.
