The ISU Crop Bioengineering Center at Iowa State University is seeking applicants for a part-time(20 hours/week) Administrative Assistant II. The ISU Crop Bioengineering Center (CBC) seeks to address the urgent, grand challenge to provide sufficient food, feed, biofuels and biorenewable chemicals for the worlds burgeoning population, through basic and applied research to enable the bioengineering of valuable traits in a variety of crops. The CBC also houses the Crop Bioengineering Lab (CBL), which provides crop plant transformation services. A successful candidate will act as the point of contact for the Crop Bioengineering Center and assist in the day-to-day operations. In addition, some of the duties will be:Event coordination and management. Public outreach. Media/online content management.
