Stant is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Manager with solid technical skills and a deep understanding of finance and accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This key finance position is responsible for providing financial reporting, analysis, and supporting all controllers and Corporate Accounting to accurately and timely reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Reporting to the VP Finance & Business Planning, this role requires a collaborative cross functional effort to drive relevant, flexible, and efficient financial reporting and analysis that supports our key business decisions. A proven self-starter, this candidate ideally has demonstrated experience in a similar role with a global, multi site manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for administering the OneStream consolidation and financial reporting applications, including the maintenance of reports, metadata, data loads, and reconciliations.

Finance Systems Manager Key Functions:

  • Prepare complex consolidated financial statements accurately and timely; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements: manage the quarterly and annual reporting processes.
  • Coordinate with the International Teams during the month-end close and perform intercompany account reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing internal reporting and the review of key financial trends for presentation to management.
  • Creation of the quarterly financial statements in support of lender requirements.
  • Review, identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiencies.
  • Identify internal control concerns and partner with other internal groups to mitigate control weaknesses.
  • Reconcile various general ledger accounts monthly, primarily intercompany accounts.
  • Owner of consolidation process, including but not limited to, consolidation of 6+ legal entities, multi-national and multi-currency subsidiary financial statements, including process for translation, review of consolidating elimination and adjusting entries, reconciliation of intercompany and investment in subsidiary transactions.
  • Owner of Budget and Forecast load process, including but not limited to, creating, and maintaining load forms, ensuring loaded data is correctly displayed in the reports, and utilizing Data Management tools to copy data across Planning scenarios.
  • Assist in user training and coaching global team members on OneStream; develop and refine training materials.
  • Undertake and manage special projects and other reporting needs as required.
  • Provide support, maintenance and the continuing development of our consolidation application, OneStream, and processes to ensure actual results are analyzed and communicated in a timely manner.
  • Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve issues and risks affecting the OneStream application and financial reports.
  • Lead efforts to partner with cross functional teams to streamline and improve the monthly financial reporting cycle with an emphasis on improving systems, processes, and all financial reporting, simplifying general ledger postings to efficiently report and close.
  • Serve as primary support for OneStream applications related to business process issues and data issues.
  • Maintain multiple organization structures for a large company.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts for a complex, multi-currency global organization.
  • Develop and troubleshoot reports using OneStream and Excel tools.


Qualifications:

  • BA / BS degree in Accounting, Computer Science / Information Technology
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience in accounting / finance highly preferred
  • OCP Lead Architect
  • Deep knowledge of accounting processes property accounting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, reporting
  • One Stream/Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) - Expertise is mandatory.
  • Understanding of application architecture, change management, compliance, controls, databases, corporate reporting.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines and goals.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong rapport with stakeholders.
  • Advanced user in Excel is mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated intelligence with the ability to work independently and in a team in a deadline driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Additional relevant experience and involvement with a successful financial system implementation required.
