Job Summary:

Provides administrative and clerical support to the Fairgrounds department. Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department.

Responsibilities:
  • Receives invoices from vendors for Fairgrounds facilities.
  • Performs clerical and administrative duties, such as, typing, filing, answering telephone calls, assists visitors and public.
  • Monitors scheduled dates for facility rental to ensure there are no conflicts.
  • Coordinates the cleaning of rental facilities before and after use.
  • Assists other staff as needed.
  • Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED. Some college preferred. Do you have at least 2 years of work experience?
  • Strong typing skills (minimum 40 wpm), demonstrated computer skills.
  • WORD, Excel, Power Point, Adobe, Photo Shop, Publisher, ACT, or other systems software experience is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

SALARY RANGE: $17.60 Min to $22.00 Max/ Hourly

CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
