CornerStone Staffing is currently recruiting for the following position:
Job Title: Incoming Quality Control Inspector
Location: Richardson, TX
Pay: $23 - $25/hr
Schedule: Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4pm
Job Description\Requirements:
Inspects incoming parts and/or materials for conformance to parts specifications, drawing and quality assurance
standards.
Determines acceptance or rejection of all incoming parts and/or materials in accordance with parts specifications and/or drawings.
Documents all non-conformance/discrepancies for appropriate disposition.
Interacts with all departments and functions for effective disposition of all non-conformance reports in a timely manner.
Initiates First Article Inspections using Kissflow.
Maintains Quality data in the appropriate files and spreadsheets.
Works with Purchasing to inform suppliers of part discrepancies.
Performs QC Audits to check for compliance with quality practices on the Production floor.
Reports part problems to the Quality Triage address.
Enters deviation information in the Pick database using the QC Exceptions program.
Ensures that the use, handling, calibration and care of Quality Inspection tools and equipment are followed.
Acts as backup for In-line Quality Control inspectors as needed.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Experience with QC in electrical/manufacturing industry only - REQUIRED
IPC-610 knowledge required, and certification preferred.
Ability to use a microscope.
Strong computer skills required (intermediate level for Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, blueprints, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Fluency in English is required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
