Position: Quality Assurance Coordinator
Location: Green Valley, AZ (Onsite)
Duration: 24 months or longer (long term contract)
Client Industry: Heavy Machinery, Construction, and Mining Equipment Manufacturing
Pay Range: $30.00/hour
Job Description:
- Typical task breakdown/ Positions Contributions to Work Group:
- Follow established and documented International Standards Organization (ISO 9001 & 17025) process for quality
- Manage and improve various processes within PMT tool to meet ISO 9001 & ISO 17025 requirements
- Effectively communicate with cross-functional areas to complete tasks
- Provide support to quality issues identified
- Support Production System Continuous Improvement (CI) activities by reducing waste
- Update Facility Metric board
- Prepare quarterly internal ISO 17025 Audits
- Prepare annual external ISO 17025 Audits
- Issue CAPAs for non-conformances
- Manage daily internally detected defects
- Preform first level sort and confirm
- Collect and Monitor key KPIs for the facility
- Create and Participate in Quarterly ISO Leadership Reviews
Interaction with team:
- Test engineers, mechanics, leadership, and cross functional roles. Working with every organization within TPG.
Work environment:
Education & Experience Required:
- No degree needed, but preferred.
- 5+ years experience in this role.
Technical Skills
(Required)
- Data management and computer skills are a MUST.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- AQS certification
- Willing to work in industrial/mining environment
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 OR 17025
- Experience writing and managing processes
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience in managing projects
