Position Details:
--- Title: Maintenance Technician
--- Location: Aurora, SD
--- Shift: M-F 7a-4p, On call every 6 weeks
--- Compensation: $35/hr-$37/hr, + OT

Position Description: Responsibilities include:
Work with Plant Engineer and external contractors to plan/assist/implement install new equipment or systems.
--- Repair or replace plant equipment or systems on a scheduled or emergency basis.
--- Maintain industrial machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand and power tools.
--- Move, assemble, install, or dismantle machinery and monitor reliability of equipment.
--- Interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches.
--- Analyze plans for new equipment and map out space to unpack and assemble.
--- Diagnose and trouble-shoot maintenance related issues, repairing or replacing components.
--- Know and understand city, county, state, and federal regulations, health/safety/environmental programs.
--- Responsible for notifying management of any concerns & perform all tasks with Feed/Safety/Quality.
Requirements:
--- Highschool Diploma or GED
--- 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience with knowledge of procedures for pumps, valves, motors and conveyors preferred.
--- Previous fabrication and welding experience required.
--- Experience as Journeyman Millwright, Pipe Fitter or machine repair may be potential fit for this position.
--- Background in mobile equipment, heavy equipment is desirable.
--- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and computer skills required.
