Dal-Tile is seeking a dynamic Training Specialist to develop and deliver blended learning solutions to support company training and development initiatives.
The Major Function and Scope:
- Delivers instructor-led training on foundational company initiatives.
- Develops and delivers training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program, design, and training technologies (Captivate, Articulate, and/or Camtasia expertise required).
- Provides development, delivery and management services in support of blended learning solutions.
- Uploads and updates training content as needed to reflect changing organizational needs.
- Plans, organizes and implements various training related activities, including administration and logistic responsibilities for various delivery models and events.
- Leads various training related projects to support business development. Coordinates with internal SMEs and stakeholders to ensure timelines and specifications are met.
- Evaluates effectiveness of existing training programs and makes updates to content based on analysis.
- Will facilitate orientation for for employees
- Train and provide classroom styled instruction based on company training needs.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Experience and Education:
- Bachelor s Degree in business or education or equivalent training and experience.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills. High energy, enthusiastic training style.
- MS Office and Adobe Captivate, Articulate (or related training design software) preferred
- 4+ years of designing, developing and facilitating blended learning solutions, including classroom, webinar and self-paced learning.
- Exceptional presentation skills required
- Experience with LMS/LCMS administration and virtual facilitation tools.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and computer skills.
- Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to function in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
- Very strong customer service orientation and commitment to quality, responsibility, high work standards, and professionalism.
Interview:
15 minute in person presentation will be required during interview process
