Position:Entry-Level Financial Counselor
Schedule: Monday Friday (Onsite)
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM | 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay Rate: $18-19.25/HR

Requirements:
- Excellent Customer Service Abilities:Your ability to empathize, communicate effectively, and provide compassionate support to patients and their families is crucial.
- Computer Skills:Proficiency in using basic computer software such as Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Healthcare Environment Experience:Ideally, youll have 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting. Understanding medical terminology and insurance procedures is advantageous.
- Communication with Commercial Insurance Companies:Handling insurance claims and communicating with commercial insurance providers will be part of your role. If youve dealt with insurance companies before, youll thrive in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in understanding their financial responsibilities and available payment options.
- Collaborate with billing and administrative staff to resolve financial inquiries.
- Educate patients on insurance coverage and assist with claims processing.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
